This stuff is just great! We moved into a rental that has vinyl "leather" on the edge of the bar. I HATE this stuff and would tear it up if given the choice. This is a company lease and my husband has only been here a year. So I'm not putting too much effort into this cabin. The vinyl on the counter was torn and someone fixed it with silver tape. This should have happened quite a while ago because the tape was worn out and nasty. I try not to live like that lol. So I went to Amazon. I was about to buy vinyl tape in a similar color but thank goodness I found it. It worked great. Looks like a new ugly vinyl stripe! I've never done anything like this before, so you can imagine there were a lot of mistakes and I had to make about 100 cuts. The material is actually quite forgiving on things like this because you can't even tell it's not a solid piece unless you look very closely. I was about to patch the part with the tape but I ordered the wrong color. So I just went ahead and did it again. A couple of times I got wrinkled or blistered and had to pull the piece back out. The tape stuck just as well as the first time. I'm just left with a piece of ugly brown vinyl running down the bar to the floor. I'm going to order another roll today and with a little more confidence I'll do the last little bit.
