A powerful siren will deter theft!

This great little alarm clock is fairly easy to install, but I recommend using your own 3M strap. It's quite subtle, especially if you have a bike seat cover that you can pull over to make it disappear like in the photo I posted (loose to show location). Bike theft has become a real problem in Colorado as laws were relaxed after being camouflaged in a vote and so we've had thieves get very brazen and steal bikes from garages at midday or even if left alone for a minute (in our case a break on the toilet). If you're lucky the police might find it as much as we did, but you'll need a good description and ideally a registration of your bike to help with the recovery. In this case, it was found 50 miles away in a homeless camp. We have an electric bike (e-bike) and due to the pandemic it's not only expensive it's also harder to find and get, so stealing means getting a new one. Replacement can be difficult or impossible. There have also been fires nearby that have destroyed 1,000 homes this year and all of these people had bikes that needed replacing so they are in high demand. they keep pushing him, he will take full advantage. I think you can tweak this, but you want it to prevent theft, so I left the decibels high. They also defuse with the remote control. I recommend hanging this from a string or keychain so you don't lose it. I would love to see someone try to steal it now! I bet they would piss their pants!
