We have previously bought two suction cup phone mounts for our cars. We ran into some major issues with them as the suction cups would lose air over time or if we hit a big bump while driving they would fall off the windshield. Once one of us even came off the windshield, fell under the brake pedal and almost couldn't stop. Serious potential security risk! We've looked at car cup holders, and while we didn't like the idea of losing a cup holder, both of our Toyotas have plenty of them. These mounts are very, very well made. They are adjustable and can rotate the holder in all directions. The base stretches from very small to very, very large and fits well. We've never had a problem with them falling off or bending. The hand is very stiff and stays in place well. We liked it so much that we bought a second one. We will probably buy more as gifts for friends and family.
