In general, these units are efficient but tend to be fragile. Tried different brands. I have a small basement bathroom with lingering smells of a quart drawer, toilet bowl, and mold. The tower model's Hepa filter cannot deodorize this poisonous stew, but ozone can. If I can use this filter for a full year before it breaks, I will consider it a worthwhile purchase going forward. Always look for a model that produces ozone. I bought an inefficient model that only produces ions and has virtually no ozone odor. It did not work. Both stopped working after three months. I will never buy these mini plug models again because they only last a few months no matter what brand I buy. Even if you have the means to replace them every three months, they will end up polluting the environment for centuries or more. Find a solution that doesn't require you to regularly dispose of electronics in landfills.
