I have been making mail jewelry for over 15 years and love these pliers for tiny jump rings or eye beads. I've always hated straight nosed pliers, I could never get a good grip on the ring and kept slipping, and all the stores I visited ran out of serrated pliers so I was very happy to find this set. that they were in them. The handles are very comfortable for my hand. If you like pliers with smooth jaws, this set has one with smooth jaws and the rest have serrated edges. Depending on your jewelry work and the type of pliers you like, this set may or may not work for you. One bad thing I have to say about this set is that the cutters in it are useless. They are not sharp at all and cannot cut. I have tried the spike, string and small pieces of metal but to no avail. I had to throw them out because they literally can't cut anything no matter how hard you squeeze them.
