Exactly what I wanted as a new cover for my large buckwheat pillow. The buckwheat husk hides something inside, but after years of use and, well, a bit of sweat, my original buckwheat inner bag was downright mean. I've dried the bowl in the sun intermittently over the years and this time I loaded it into one of these. Very tightly woven to keep dust mites out but also keeps buckwheat dust inside safely. Due to the tight weave, I wouldn't rate the comfort as high because the fabric is stiff. But for me, this is an inner pillowcase that doesn't make direct contact with my sensitive epidermis. Ha! A different shape and larger than my original King Size Beans 72 (or whatever) pillow. I'll probably take the queen next time, but it still works great for my admittedly somewhat unusual goal. Need reliable head and neck support while you sleep? Try a traditional Japanese buckwheat pillow. I will never go back to anything else. Very heavy but fits well around the head and neck and provides support all night. Forget feathers and foam!
