I needed this patch to patch a hole in my favorite winter coat that got caught on the edge of a metal mailbox while walking. I followed the online ironing instructions but it didn't last at all! I used E6000 glue to get it in place and it has held up to date. A thick, lined jacket sleeve would be too difficult to sew.
