This bed is sturdy enough, and that's partly why I didn't mind the difficult instructions; I figured the more support, the better. It looks great, just as I expected from the picture (ordered the black iron frame). My only qualm is that with all things on ebay, it's not really a "deal" since you get what you pay for.in our case, one of the parts was loose and some of the paint was coming off the knobs. Thankfully, it isn't a part that is too noticeable but it was rather disappointing to see while assembling it. Since we already set this bed up, I really don't want to go through the pain of breaking it down and requesting a refund, but if that wasn't the case I would have asked for a refund/replacement by now. Does the job and looks nice, but I wish it wasn't such a gamble to buy these mass-produced furniture items online.
