This bed frame is very sturdy and fairly easy to assemble once you get the hang of the instructions. Every page of the instructions say DO NOT TIGHTEN BOLTS COMPLETELY, follow this warning and tighten all bolts at the end. I would say it's a very good thing to layout all the parts where you can see the letter stickers such as part A, B, etc before going forward. If the room it's going to be used in has a standard door you must build it inside that room or it will not fit through the door.

There was extra holes in the frame im assuming because its also sold as something else with different parts i feel its quite cheap. That it should cost less for this kind of quality. I desperately needed a day bed for a small bedroom I was putting together for my sickly mother's caretaker. The box came in damaged and I should of returned it at that point but we were moving and I didn’t want my daughter sleeping on a floor. When I started to assemble it, I started seeing yellow or orange color stains on the white. Almost like a rust. Although, I don’t think it’s rust. I couldn’t clean it off. Arrived damaged, but I took a chance and opened it. Noticed right away it was not true to color. I specifically ordered brown and it looks black. It had paint rubbed off in places and bent pipes that may have occurred during shipping. I put it together without help so was easy to assemble. It’s attractive & fairly sturdy. This daybed meets our needs for a temporary, downstairs bed. Assembly was pretty straight forward and not difficult for one person to handle. The primary criticism that I have is that one bolt hole was misaligned and/or the threaded receiver was stripped. In either case, the bolt would not fully seat. Not too difficult to assemble, but was missing a crucial part. Easy to assemble with simple instructions included! Took awhile, but they did send me replacements.

I bought this for lovely mother since when she was on bed rest & very weak. I wanted something that wasn’t too high for her and very sturdy since she was fragile. She liked it and afterwards my 9 year old loved it too!

This is exactly what I was looking for! The paint is nicely done and it is sturdy. The only thing that could have been a little better was the sturdiness when leaning against the back. It did give some when I rested my back against it. A few pillows along the back will help with that though. Another thing I like is that I can store things underneath if need be. Overall a great buy!

The bed looks nice put together but one of the balls that you screwed in at the top was broken so it will not screw in. That's my review!

The bed was fairly easy to assemble. The studs and screws came bags that seemed already used which was gross. My sister and I had to go through and wipe all of it down. The bed seems sturdy for the most part but, we will see with time. The weld job was poor but, was expected with all the negative reviews on this product; you really take a gamble buying this bed. ):

I am 65 and put this together myself. I am mechanically challenged, but refuse to pay someone to assemble something I can do. It might have taken me 2x as longer, but so what . It is for my guest room. It is absolutely perfect and sturdy and very pretty. I am getting better with instructions!

I like the bed, but it was very hard to put together by myself. I needed another set of hands to hold the other ends of the sides/back of the bed while I squared it up and lined up the screws/holes (which I ended up doing after I gave up doing it myself). Everything was labeled well though which helped. They REALLY need to come up with another tool than that tiny Allen wrench.

This bed was great. It's very sturdy and looks great. I would purchase it again if I would need another one. Unaccommodating and impractical.
