We transitioned our two year old out of her toddler bed to this lovely twin bed. It is just perfect. It is sturdy enough I can lay down with her and read bed time stories together. She has not had a problem sleeping in this bed and really likes it. When she first walked in to her new bed she goes "pretty." I am totally in love with my purchase of this daybed. I live in a tiny house and had a roll-a-bed that took up space but provided me with a place to sleep.
