This daybed was purchased for my elderly mother who came to live with us. The instructions say 30 minutes to assemble, however, it takes that long just to get all the pieces out of the box and in order. It took my husband and I about 4-5 hours. While assembling, it seemed somewhat shaky, but after it was put together and everything was bolted down, it appears to be very sturdy. This is a good looking bed and my mother is very happy with it. She says it reminds her of the metal beds she had when she was growing up. I would recommend this bed if you are looking for an economical solution to a bedding problem.
