I wasn't sure which webcam would work on Ubuntu 16.04 and then Intel NUC (NUC7PJYH) with only USB 3.0 ports. I bought this webcam because of the advertised Ubuntu support and the explicit mention that it works with USB 2.0 ports and USB 3.0 ports. I first showed how it works in Cheese Webcam Booth and then showed how it works in Zoom installed on Ubuntu. The sound quality in the Cheese Webcam Booth was good provided I selected USB Live Camcra for the microphone input in the Ubuntu sound settings. My Ubuntu used the NUC's built-in microphone, in other words, no audio from the webcam. I didn't even know the NUC had a microphone. The audio quality in Zoom was very good. On this NUC, CPU usage never exceeded 30% when capturing video and audio in a Zoom session, which is a good thing. I was concerned that the processor on this lower-end NUC would be marginal for such a camera. The processor was fine. Perhaps because the processor in such a NUC is quad-core. Also works in Ubuntu 18.04 LTS and 20.04 LTS.
