I bought a Schwinn Sierra after not riding a bike for 35 years. The bike seat was terrible so I kept buying until I got tired of looking. My bike has a micro adjustable seatpost The pin where the rails connect to the post comes with an adapter for a plain post, remove it and put the seat on the rails and you're in business, except BMX , as I believe their rails are 7mm in diameter or at least another But don't worry about the mounting as it is suitable for both tubular poles and poles that accept rails. I wanted something wide as I'm 5'6" at 210lbs with a 28 inseam. This seat is wide enough and comfortable, it's not too wide between the legs as I was afraid it has rubber shock absorbers, which in my opinion are better than springs with limited experience the springs will make your bum and head shake not with this one a customer named robert reviewed another cloud 9 saddle it was good and he provided photos and it was obvious he was a serious rider and not a person with health issues who wants to ride and watch so I increased the size by 2 inches he liked and did the right thing by sharing the same seat thanks to Robert, Revane and Niagara only Ordered 2 inches wider.
