In general this is an average product but at a good price. I will probably continue to use it. It works like a suitcase and looks well tailored and durable. I like that the notches to hold the screen in the viewing position are sewn on so it doesn't easily slide on and fall off (a common issue in my recent case that prompted this purchase) and they should serve as rest breaks for now stay. I haven't had any build quality issues, but the name is a bit misleading and there are some annoying design flaws that I've detailed below and workarounds that I've found to still enjoy the product. I would definitely recommend a screen protector as I don't think it will be great drop protection but I won't test it to know for sure. worked all the time and it was incredibly frustrating at first. The way the lid closes naturally doesn't trigger sleep 100%. So if you're watching a movie and just close the lid, it often keeps playing. It's a pretty simple fix, but I've put a star on it since it's annoying. To circumvent this design flaw, there are some very simple options. Option 1: While closing the cover, grasp the front cover tab and pull it from the edge towards the screen as far as possible, which will initiate the auto sleep mode. .Option 2: When it's closed, pull the front cover flap all the way over the edge to enable the sleep function Option 3: Just press the power button to put the iPad to sleep This is NOT exactly a wallet case, since there are no secure compartments for credit cards or cash. I didn't dock Stars because I didn't intend to use it as a wallet, so that still mattered to me; nice case for my ipad. It's more like a folio style case with a large pocket on the outside. It's not secure and credit cards or cash can easily fall out if you get it wrong and put the pocket down, so I wouldn't recommend using it as a wallet. It's a great place to put a grocery list or important papers and I've put my phone in my pocket a few times to free my hand as the phone snags a bit and stays good enough for a walk to the office Car. or similar in a short distance. I was worried that the iPad wouldn't stay in the case when I got it due to its design, but I put it in the case and shook it over my bed to make sure it didn't come out and stayed where it was had to. I was also concerned that without a latch to close it would accidentally open, but the magnetic closure seems strong enough, but I still recommend caution.
