This is a quality product at an affordable price. I have a pendant light in my dining area with a 4 inch round LED array hardwired into the sphere. A few months ago it started flickering and then randomly stopped at half brightness. turns on at full brightness for about 10 seconds. The complexity of the installation depends on what you are connecting this product to - removing the LED matrix in this light took some time, however installing the new LED was fairly easy once I removed the old parts and figured out how to do it can install new light bulb. I usually like colored bulbs between 3500K and 4000K and the hue control of this bulb is excellent. an improvement over the previous factory LED and the lamp has actually improved the existing fixture.
