I am very skeptical about heat brushes, straighteners, hair dryers and other things. I did a lot of research and decided to try this one. As I mentioned in the title READ THE INSTRUCTIONS, it took me a few minutes to figure out how to turn this off, but once you understand how it works it's easy. The good thing is that it has a lock option so the device doesn't get hot if you forget it. I have normal hair, not thin or thick, I used the glove that comes with the kit as well as bobby pins, they are very useful to part the hair and iron the right amount. Please detangle your hair before using this straightening comb, it will be easier. Highly recommended!
