This air purifier is a game changer! We live in Arizona, where it's almost always hot and the air quality is almost always bad. Especially this year (because we had no monsoon) our allergies were killing us. My husband, who never had a problem, was almost completely incapacitated by his allergy. We've tried medications, changed the air filters in the house, done deep cleanings, etc. and nothing helped. Until I tried this beast. It has literally changed the quality of our lives. This has not only helped rid our main living area of pollen, but also filtered out smoke and grease in the air during/after cooking. You know it's working because the screen will tell you how bad the air is using numbers. With us it usually stays pretty low (from 6 to 13) unless of course we're cooking, the house isn't open or someone has set something on fire. That's incredible. It has a few settings, but we prefer to leave it automatic as it adjusts as needed, and that's what's most convenient for us. This is by far the best air purifier we have ever had and we will be buying a few more for other levels of our home. We swear by this thing and can only recommend it!
