Review on πŸ–¨οΈ Enhance 3D Printing Precision with ExcelFu Length Extruder Makerbot Printer by Joshua Romero

The hot end hole for the thermistor is really small.

The hot end hole for the thermistor is very small so I had to buy new thermistors that could fit in this hole - the one that came with my printer was larger, thicker cables and couldn't watch this one hot end. If you already have thinner thermistors, you should be fine. The brass nozzle and threaded neck do not mate exactly (I believe this is because the gasket-like part of the threaded pipe is not flush with the rim of the pipe (it doesn't go all the way to the rim) and prevents there being a seal between the two parts) so that the pla slowly flows out of the hot end both at the top and at the bottom.

Pros
  • Industrial & Scientific
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging
