Review on Cutting Machine with Adjustable Voltage and Current for Precise Thickness Control by Scott Channell

Revainrating 5 out of 5

So far so good Thumbs up

This is good value for money. It comes with all the hardware to run the machine. The instructions are clear and legible with pictures, specifications and recommendations. I tested this car for durability. I bought it to play and do things. And so far so good. I've cut through .250 = 1/4 inch thick steel and even gouged the same thickness and it's been amazing. I have an 8 gallon port cargo compressor and it keeps it running. I didn't make any changes to it to make it better because I wanted to try it right away. I mean I just plugged everything in as is, no cutting air hoses, no cutting wires to plug into a 110v outlet. I've even used it with the same materials as me, being a beginner I figured I'd have burned them. Consumables included: 1 ceramic tip, 5 electrodes, 5 swivels and 5 tips. This car is a drag type, by the way. At first I thought it wouldn't work because I didn't understand the concept of dragtip, but it's easy. Simply touch the edge of the metal to open the tip of the arc and pull the trigger to blow air after the trigger and the arc will be cut. Because this machine has so little power, you can pull the handpiece without a guide. Which technology will also teach you. I would recommend this machine if you want to learn how to plasma cut. Another one of my recommendations is to watch a Miller Electric Plasma Cutter YouTube video that teaches you how to use the plasma cutter. As for durability, if this little machine lasts at least a year with occasional use, the price and performance will make it worth the money. Hope it works for you too if you decide to buy it. It's good that Revane takes it back if you're not satisfied.

Pros
