The thing worked great at first but after a week of use the thing let me down, the camera just went off and I missed all these cool shots with my kid fiddling with it, I tightened, but notices that there is still a lot of play that can very easily disconnect the cable connectors from the inside of the battery compartment and when that happens the camera just turns off, you have to squeeze the battery and camera together to turn it back on , I had to return it. I wanted it to work because I loved how it looked on my camera and with this battery, but when it started to fail I couldn't risk missing out on more amazing shots
