Review on Aqueon Betta Starter Gallon Black by Jim Bethea

Not suitable tank for fighting fish. Suitable for temporary transport only

Just want to say I only bought this tank to transport my bettas on sudden moves. And for that I say mine. OK. However, this should be advertised as a permanent reservoir for not only 1 but also 2 chickens. it's a trash can. Betta fish should be at least 2.5 gallons, but I recommend 5 gallons or larger. The one I bought this for is 10 gallons. They must also have filters and heaters, and this tank is too small to accommodate. If 2 bettas were placed in this aquarium, each betta would only have 0.25 gallons of space to move around. A small stagnant tank will become dirty and poisonous much quicker than an aquarium with a properly sized filter, and you will need to change the water much more frequently to keep your betta healthy. There are many better betta aquariums out there. I highly recommend not buying this unless like me you need to transport fish. It's a waste of money and bad for the fish

Pros
  • Easy open feed door allows you to feed your bettas without having to remove the entire lid
Cons
  • Crumpled
