So filters do what they're supposed to do and all that, and it's nice; However, they are MUCH too expensive for their lifespan. In the last two places I lived they barely lasted a month. I remember when I first got the air purifier, the filter it came with lasted at least two months. And considering that it costs $11 to replace and you have to keep replacing them, you can calculate how much it will end up costing you per year. Of course the last two places were pretty old and dusty but this is the new place I'm at. brand new and I'm ordering another replacement so we'll see how well this one performs in the new environment. We don't have pets here or anything like that and I only use it in my bedroom and cleaning quite often. If it lasts longer this time I might up it a star but I still think it's overpriced. It should be around $5 or $7, or if they charge that much it should be two filters instead of one. My advice: If you are going to use the cleaner that comes with these filters in an old, dusty place or in a place with pets, then don't worry. Get it back if you can and invest in something that allows for reusable filters or something like that as it gets expensive real quick.
