The best deflappers I have!

Just replaced my 18ft patio shed and was planning to keep it for camping which is 3 months into the winter. We are located near Brownsville, approximately 30 minutes from the coast. We have constant breezes, winds and gusts of wind that cause most awnings to be rolled up. We have had daily winds around 15mph, head on passes 25-35mph and occasional gusts almost weekly in the 30-50mph range. I have 4 used Awnbrellas and 3 pairs of Awning Buddy. The distance between the arches is approximately 4ft, 3ft, 3ft, 3ft, 4ft. I added a few turns to the hinge buddy's clamps, which seemed to hold up well without deforming the clamping surface. The awning arms are diagonal to the body of the bus and I use ground bolts to attach the ends of the pulley to hold the awning in place with nylon ratchet straps. I put it on after metabolizing about 5 weeks ago and it's still there. The tentmates didn't move, the arches didn't move. Faced with wind 95% of the time. During the last cold front we were the only rig that still had a tent (of about 100 units). We have very little noise from the patio awning. It is actually quieter than sliding awnings.
