Straps too short: Appearance

Glad these times will tell if they hold up, be aware you may need to purchase longer velcro straps, 12" was too short for my 98 Holiday Rambler -Canopy, easy enough to repair

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes

  • Some cons

Good product for a canopy in light winds

Helps a lot in light winds on an awning. Does not prevent wear or loss of the awning in high winds. They are easy to install but a little awkward to mount overhead. The awning must be fully extended.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Not bad

A great idea! on RV Parts & Accessories

Love the unique adjustment of just the toggle switches. The other brand was a little painful and required the screws to be fully clamped/loosened. I also like the full length which spreads the tension over a longer area of the awning fabric. I use four. Swing doesn't even try to flap or wobble.

Pros
  • Pleasant
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

Won't hold canvas in high winds

This product failed miserably for me. Here we regularly have strong winds of 15-30 m/s. But with winds as low as 15-20mph, the awning's fabric tore from the latches that were supposed to hold it in place. I tried to protect him several times but failed each time. I have returned the item.

Pros
  • Excellent construction
Cons
  • Some minor issues

Good but could be better

I've been using these clips for about a month now. They are easy to use. However, they don't hold up as tightly as I think they should. I've had to reinstall one of them several times because of the high winds that blow up before storms here in the upper New Mexico desert. But for the most part not a bad buy!

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Functionality

Couldn't take strong gusts of wind

I was hoping they would fit. With a wider gripping surface than their competitor, I thought and hoped they would do the job. But they didn't, and I gave them a chance by moving them to different spots in the canopy. As I type this and contemplate installing it, I also recall some struggles with their clamp/hold system. So I sent them back (love Revain Prime's return policy). Purchased smaller tarp clips and "button bungee" and they work best. You can also find them somewhere on Revain. This…

  • Absolutely amazing!

The best deflappers I have!

Just replaced my 18ft patio shed and was planning to keep it for camping which is 3 months into the winter. We are located near Brownsville, approximately 30 minutes from the coast. We have constant breezes, winds and gusts of wind that cause most awnings to be rolled up. We have had daily winds around 15mph, head on passes 25-35mph and occasional gusts almost weekly in the 30-50mph range. I have 4 used Awnbrellas and 3 pairs of Awning Buddy. The distance between the arches is approximately…
