I wanted to smell like lemons (a bit unrealistic to think it would). I was hoping it would smell like lemon when applied, but it's very light. The aroma is pleasant, the smell of powder is persistent. I don't like wearing deodorant, so powder is a good alternative. I have never spent so much money on powder. Depending on how long it takes, $40 is a lot, it depends if I spend the same amount more. Overall I like it, just wish it smelled more like lemon. :)
