These shoes look absolutely adorable on my grandson. He has no problem walking in them and seems to have no problem putting them on and putting them on. The material is very flexible, the Velcro is well sewn. He often goes barefoot, so he generally had trouble adjusting to wearing shoes. He was much better off with them. I really like the design, I think it will last a long time. The insole feels pretty firm unlike most kids' running shoes. No free seats. This is a great option for a first shoe. Nice and soft, yet offers excellent protection.
