Installed 40111 Epoxy Coil in a 1929 Ford Model A, 6 volt with unmodified switchgear. I wanted to check the intensity of the spark, so I held the coil wire next to the block while cranking. It used to be a solid 1/4 inch spark. She now jumps a 3/8 inch gap. Very noticeable change in soft start at idle. I set the congestion to 0.040 and the highway speed now has more throttle and smoother operation. i am sold All my friends buy this role. I used epoxy instead of oil because the spool ran upside down. Leakage is excluded and the cooler works. Also installed the same unit on a 6 volt 50 Ford Flathead and a '54 Ford 239 OHV V8. I didn't change the gaps but the start and work is definitely better. More momentum. The price was also very affordable and couldn't compete with the free shipping, especially to Alaska. Thank you Revan
