Everyone who likes to travel should have this. The slim, ergonomic design fits comfortably in your hand. I am very impressed with the quality of these affordable devices. This thing is built to last. It's that easy to use. You simply wrap the strap around the suitcase's handle, press the power button and see the zeros, and then lift the luggage off the floor. Once stabilized, it records weight for just a few seconds on an easy-to-read LCD screen. Ready! It's so easy to use that I just had to test it for accuracy. I have several sets of dumbbells lying around my office so I weighed them all. Each of them weighed within 0.2 pounds of the listed weight. I believe that also corresponds to the dumbbell production parameters. So I weighed them all a few times to see if the weight fluctuated within that 0.2 pound range. Interestingly, the weight of each dumbbell was the same each time. Pretty cool. My wife and I travel a little, especially in the winter months we like to escape to warmer climes. Now I'd rather pack my overnight bag and leave, but my wife is what you would call a classic packer. I no longer need heavy bags at the airport, I'm tired of stuffing a bunch of their stuff in my bag to get on the plane. The scale is so small and light that it fits right in the pocket of my travel bag. If you're looking for the perfect little travel companion, I give this scale two thumbs up. I am very happy.
