Bright light, does what it's supposed to and charges directly via micro USB or bulletproof port with the included 12V car charger. It turns on at the push of a button. The part I'm not a fan of and why it didn't get a higher rating is that the description says it uses batteries that aren't included, which led me to believe they could be replaced and I could potentially use an external charger to have spares if it ever dies without having to wait while it charges on the cord. Advertised batteries that supposedly don't come with it, not even the type they're in, it actually uses an 18650 style vape box/torch that sits under the LEDs. So I can't change the batteries when they die and I have an order for 10 batteries in transit that won't even fit in and I'm planning on sending them back (now it's not that bad if I know but that is it still sucks).
