Review on Gold Rolton W405 FM Radio Speaker Music Player with LED Display - Portable Mini TF Card for PC, iPod, Phone by Brent Ayyagari

PROS: o Compact size, fits in a pants or shirt pocket o FM reception is quite sensitive even with antenna retracted o Good battery life o Good Volume o The sound quality exceeded expectations for such a small radio. CONS: o The flashlight function can't be turned off, didn't like it because I accidentally turned it on several times in my pocket *really good* liked this pocket radio with built in speaker and passive radiator, it sounds better than I expected from one miniature radio. Others I tried didn't have as good sound quality. I also found it good that the battery lasts for several hours at a decent volume. The real hurdle for me was that the radio had an issue very early on that would cause it to shut down if hit. and often with no extra effort other than pulling my pants on as I walk. It seemed that sometimes it would be better if I dropped the device from a few meters. Finally, after months of aggravation, on one of the last few nights it turned off four times in the same number of minutes and I couldn't take it and forcefully dropped it. Not exactly an "adult" way of solving a problem, but solving the problem he did. that I no longer get annoyed about spontaneously switching off. now it's *always* off. Having said that I seriously think I'll order another one as I haven't found a radio this size yet with the sound quality of this one (just don't expect miracles from a radio this size). I hope I don't get another lemon.
