Purchase this cable as a recommendation from Amcrest for a potential issue I was having with a new/used 4K camera that I purchased. The image was flickering and the support guy I spoke to thought it might be the cable. I used the cable that came with my old Amcrest 1080p DVR and it said it needed to be upgraded to support the new camera's 4K signal. When it arrived I really couldn't tell much of a difference between this cable and the one I had used before. They seemed to have the same thickness and flexibility, and the image quality didn't change at all when I swapped the cables on the camera. So I think the Amcrest 4K camera will work great with at least a 1080p cable. via the 60 foot cable. Buying a plain cable can save you some money at the end of the day and it will work just as well, but be careful when troubleshooting your camera. Support will ask you if you're using the "right hardware" when you contact them about problems with their products. Therefore, a star is only deducted because it did not affect the image quality of the 4K camera.
