My daughter usually wears size 8 sneakers, so I took size 9 to wear thick wool socks. They fit as expected. They are easy to put on and take off compared to other snowshoes. It's very nice and warm inside! To be honest I don't even think I need thick wool socks with it. I love the materials! The quality is generally amazing. They were perfect for our Utah ski trip. I can't believe the selling price I paid. Complete stealing of the deal! Much better quality than other cheap brands sold on Amazon for kids winter boots. For things like children's snowshoes that need to be preformed, I prefer to buy well-known brands. The boots are quite light, not heavy. She can walk well in it. They're adorable and stylish on her too, which is a plus! It will look cute with her snow/ski wear as well as with a dress/leggings/coat for a walk around town. In general I would say they are true. If between sizes, go one size up. I would 100% recommend these boots to family and friends! I put the bottom (rubber) part of the boot in the tub and the water didn't get in. I believe they are waterproof. Now I can check out this brand's adult collection for my husband and I. I want them to do it my size! Rzhunimagu! I bet next year I will order the same boots in a larger size for her. I will let you know if I run into any issues on our trip but for now they are fantastic.
