Cheap motors and poor workmanship

Well of course they have their pros and cons Pros: They're cute little guys and very easy to install. Cons: When you first unbox them, they take a minute to turn on. Actually, when I first unpacked it, I had to push the motor for it to turn on, but then it swelled. I've had them from sunset to dawn on the automatic timer and they turn on every time you look closely at this nose, there is a spot missing some paint from the nose (and that's what gave me trouble turning it on originally), now that they talk to a timer and don't even turn their heads on all week, i had them installed on my front yard, do they get up every time they turn on? I have to go outside and hold them for a few seconds until they get up on their own, then I usually have no problem getting them up the rest of the time (before sunrise). I've even tried after sunrise when they deflate sure they lie on their face/stomach hoping they will inflate again at dusk they get up and it still didn't work I still had to get out and put them back on! They have very cheap motors/fans and I think I'll only live on them for a season or two. I'm thinking about returning them but they are so cute that I'm doubting whether to risk it or not. I think you get what you pay for, although I don't think they are that cheap given their small size.
