I'm a graduate student and recently took a class that required me to record test sessions with a webcam. After one session, I noticed that the sound quality from my webcam was terrible. There were a lot of strange noises that sounded like I was recording a session underwater. Since sound was a big part of my review, I opted for a noise-cancelling mic and it had the best price with the parameters I was looking for. I've been using it for the last two sessions and have been very impressed, especially with the noise reduction. The last session was recorded in a room with a very noisy air conditioner, but the microphone picked up the voices of me and my imaginary partner very clearly. I would highly recommend this to anyone.
