To improve the water for my employees, we use carbon filters to remove these particles. In the past we have used a 5 micron filter instead of the more expensive carbon filter. So we saved a bit when replacing the carbon filter. By changing to a 1 micron filter, we can add more months to the life of the carbon filter.
