Soft or medium bristles are fine with me but when it really MATTERS to customers they can be VERY disappointed if they decide to order soft bristles for sensitive gums or enamel and order medium instead to get. There is a noticeable difference between them. But whatever your preference, these Pulsar battery operated disposable toothbrushes are THE BEST, most convenient and compact for use at home or when travelling. I haven't used anything else since I first tried them when they first came out. I also regularly use WaterPic and dental floss. In all my purchases to date (previously from Costco) the batteries seem to last almost forever and I have NEVER come across "non-working" batteries that didn't work. Hopefully this Revain purchase is of the same quality and not outdated as it sounds like some reviewers have received.
