So far, so good. When buying an electric heater, they all produce the same amount of heat. Those are the laws of physics. If you set it to 1500 watts, you get that much heat. A heater in a tiny box like this, or a multi-dollar heater in a fancy Amish wood cabinet. You are paying for the item, the build quality and the fan. They offer a good feature set with a thermostat setting, two default power levels and a fan only mode, as well as a safety switch at the base. Just like with the expensive ones, there's just no fancy wooden box or fireplace, and no remote control that loses everything anyway. So far so good, I have two default and two new styles. They're fairly quiet and don't take up much space, but they emit some serious warmth into rooms. I'll let you know if there are any durability issues, I've used electric heaters all winter and many of them don't last the season so they will work.
