Review on 💜 Pravana Chroma Silk Creme Hair Color Vivids Wild Orchid 3oz: Vibrant Shades for Bold Hair Statements by Betsy Mitchell

I've been using direct dyes for 10 years. I used Pravana for a long time but then I lost touch with a friend who bought for me because you need a license. I switched to Artic Fox because I heard good reviews and ended up using it for 3 years. I thought it was great, but after thinking about Pravan, the subtext just doesn't stick. I have plum hair that I don't alter so I want the color to STAY. Even washing in cold water made the color fade. Most of my hair stayed the color I wanted and I realized three years ago that it was my right. I ordered them right away and mixed 2 Wild Orchid with a touch of blue. I have very long hair. (The pink hue on the paper towel is just wild orchid.) TIPS: Be sure to check the color on a napkin. As you can see the color in the shell is very dark but not a very good color indicator. Pravana colors more than any other dye. Use Aquaphor on the hairline/neck to avoid this. Since I have fake nails that stick out of my gloves, I always coat my fingertips with Aquaphor before putting on gloves. Remove excess color from skin with medical grade alcohol. Wash your hair inside out so the color doesn't spread down your body (it colors you). It also helps if you use very cold water so the color lasts longer. Use as a conditioner when you need to touch up your color between shades. Hope that helps! Keep the fun colors!
