Wow! It works! I wasn't sure it could be that easy, but after being consistent for a week and showing my 9 week old dog those bells every time she went potty, she did it! The dream came true. It took a certain determination and consistency. I had to guide her paw and tell her to potty every time she went out and then give her treats and pet her when she was successful. Also, when she had an accident, I picked her up and carried her out through the same door, ringing the bell. She understands now. Every time she needs to leave, she just clicks the bell with her mouse and waits to get off. I think she may be a little too used to being given a treat, but that's ok because it's a good form of communication between us and has made my wife and life a lot easier. I would highly recommend them to anyone who has a puppy that needs potty training. These works!
