Review on ⚡ Efficient and Modular SilverStone Technology 500W SFX-L Power Supply: 80 Plus Gold, Lengthened Design, Single Rail, Active PFC (SX500-LG) by Jack Watkins

This power supply worked exactly as I expected. Quiet (if not silent), flexible cables, well made. I have this power supply in Lian Li PC-TU100B which Silverstone used to have ST45SF-G. My problem with this PSU is exactly what Silverstone describes in the SX500-LG product description - high noise. It wasn't loud, but it was very noticeable and therefore very annoying. The SX500-LG addresses this very issue with a larger fan and a less aggressive fan curve. Before you buy, make sure it fits your case because the SX500-LG is longer than the standard SFX power supply. Other features I like: - Flexible cables similar to the PP05-E-Kit - Integrated support for two 6+2 pin PCIe power connectors - The included ATX bracket has better build quality
