They don't seem to charge as fast as other 2.4 amp chargers I've used but what matters most is the quality. My son left with his iPad and didn't turn it off. He ended up ripping the charger out of the wall, leaving the pins behind. This is a small piece of plastic that is inserted into the charger. The side was broken. My son, 7 years old, tried to pull the plug out of the socket thinking he was going to get in trouble and of course he was shocked as it was still on. I was able to pull the plug out of the wall with a pair of pliers. and throw it in a cube. I was just disappointed that something like this could happen. They should have used a solid pin rather than a collapsing type that can break so easily. If the loading ability was as expected, I would still give 3 stars.
