This is a great kit for anyone wanting to start a hobby or interest that requires specific lighting. This kit is not expensive and comes with lots of parts to get you started which is nice. You're limited by the fact that the LEDs aren't RGB, so there's no color control or anything like that. It's just a fixed color temperature that can be changed with thin/flexible plastic inserts that act like color gels. You can use them to change the color by selecting one of the blending options (they're pretty thick so I wouldn't rely too much on blending them together as you'll lose too much of their brightness). It is not that much. about the control features as you get so many parts in the kit which is a lot. Three stands, three lights, etc. This is a really solid kit for beginners who can't afford the fancy RGB stuff yet. Build quality is good enough to justify the price. It's not the best we've seen, but it doesn't look like it's going to fall apart.
