I use a computer. My iPhone 12 Pro is great for everyday use and I just can't afford to buy a new Mac right now. So all I needed was an inexpensive small computer to connect to the internet to do my personal work and take online classes. I have no intention of storing anything on this computer but will continue to use my iCloud for storage and Google Apps when needed. You can download the necessary cloud applications such as iCloud, Google Drive, and Google Docs shortcuts. leaves or whatever you like. After setting up the computer, I went in and uninstalled Microsoft Office. I don't care that it's free for a year. Google Suite works perfectly. I've used this computer quite a bit and here's what I think of it. Contrary to the negative reviews, this computer is not bad. You just can't have high hopes for a $350 laptop. You are in for a bitter disappointment. After that has been said. The mouse and keyboard are terrible and awkward to use for my liking. Of course I won't be using it from home very often, but I've done it a few times and it really doesn't work the way I'm used to. Also, I can't say for sure that the Wi-Fi connection was that good. It could be the networks I was connected to. For some reason I couldn't connect to my iPhone's hotspot. I don't know if there's a setting I need to adjust, but it shouldn't have been that hard to wire up. However, it works FANTASTIC when I turn off my work laptop and plug it into my desktop where it's hardwired to the internet and connected to a USB keyboard and mouse. I can do personal activities that require me to use a computer instead of an iPhone. This computer is NOT designed to install complex software such as Office, FilemakerPro, Quickbooks, Photoshop, etc. It is also not designed to store large files or photos. IDEAL for using cloud software and storage. I recommend this laptop as an internet terminal and NOTHING ELSE! I can't express it enough. Don't expect it to work any other way. It's the perfect lightweight laptop for connecting to social media (if you like it) or even school or accessing any websites you really can. t on your smartphone. This is an affordable option as a transitional workstation. Some people complained that they couldn't update Windows due to lack of disk space. I suggest that you regularly clear temporary files, internet cache, and downloads. Also uninstall apps you don't use or don't need. This frees up a lot of disk space. If you're using Office360, it's taking up an incredible amount of disk space. I know, that it is free for the first year. But is it really worth worrying about running out of disk space? Chromebooks are available, but I'm not interested in them. On Windows, you can set up Google Suite. It's cloud-based, free and has no trial period. You don't need to pay a subscription to store all your documents, photos, etc. They will disappear if you don't. Do not move them from OneDrive to another cloud storage after the trial period is over. why annoy Just set up a Google account that comes with free storage, use their versions of Word, Excel, Powerpoint and more, and you don't need to install them on your computer.
