I bought two to replace the much older LUXE cables. Cable Matters was wrong. The cable is not adequately shielded to protect against electromagnetic interference. At the higher limits of HDMI 2.0 with 2160/60 RGB 8-bit full range, you will encounter many communication problems. After some tests it seems that I lose about 1% of the data in 1 minute. When I hit the 30th dropped frame I have a handshake issue and no HDMI is reported for 1-3 seconds regardless of the display (LG C9, CX etc.). When I use compressed ycbcr this happens less often. In fact, however, any setting at or near the HDMI2.0 limit is not good. Redmere does not help with EMI problems. Ideal for consoles and Blu-ray. But after owning these cables for a few months and testing them for signal issues for a few days, I went back to my old HDMI.
