Emergency cell phone charger.
I use these cigarette lighter connectors with 2 six volt battery packs connected in series to produce 12 volts. I plug a 12 volt to usb power adapter into the connector and get an emergency cell phone charger. I've built 2 such rigs and they both work fine. Each battery pack holds 4 AA alkaline batteries - which are cheap and readily available.
- The hot button should be better
- This replacement plug may not work with all types of car cigarette lighter sockets, making it difficult for customers to find a perfect match for their vehicle
