This is the second order I've placed for this mouthguard. I've been using them for several years now after finally being persuaded to do so by my hygienist. I liked the idea that they were thin. I couldn't bear the thought of a big, bulky sentinel in my mouth. It may be a bit awkward to follow the process the first time, but it will be a lot easier next time. I am attaching pictures of my current setup. I used to boil water in a saucepan, but now I just use a small Pyrex container and heat the water in the microwave. The real trick is to remove the protection before the sides converge. When you can do it and you think you didn't get it right the first time. If necessary, you can warm the water, soak and try again. Even if you kill a guard trying to figure everything out, it's fine. You have more. I usually change them about once a year. You can see how yellow they end up. This current order is the first time I have received denture tablets so this will definitely help restore the color. I'll probably be using one of these in about 6 months. I keep my guard in my nightstand drawer so if I accidentally start without it I can easily reach and insert it. I rarely forget anymore. I find security really convenient and oddly reassuring. Ha!
