Review on 🔌 Lenovo Thinkpad Ultra Dock USB 3.0, USB 2.0, HDMI, Display Port 40A80045US by Larry Blanco

This docking station is a lot of work. Every time I plug in my laptop I have to undock and reconnect the keyboard for it to work (not with a mouse or monitor for some reason). Also, connecting a monitor offers a really crappy resolution. This was not the case with my old Lenovo laptop/dock and I connect it to my TV with great results so I'm assuming it's the dock. Worst of all, the ethernet connection is not working. I've been looking for this and it seems it's a common problem. Basically, I can't use the internet in the dock without disconnecting the ethernet cable from the dock and plugging it directly into my laptop instead. Finally, it doesn't transmit power, so I have to connect the power cable separately. If all these components have to be connected directly to the laptop, the docking station is useless! EDIT: More issues with this dock - it crashes Zoom and confuses peripherals for Google Hangouts so I have to undock to connect to any of these video conferencing services. I tried updates and it didn't fix the problem. NOT RECOMMENDED!
