Original Lenovo-Just Plug and Play

My ThinkPad Yoga 1st Gen is almost 4 years old. This works fine for my needs but I wanted to use 2 monitors. This little dock does its job. This is an original Lenovo. After plugging in and plugging in my monitors, the correct driver loaded and now I can run both monitors and my laptop screen at the same time. As mentioned, this dock does not charge the laptop, so you still have 1 extra power cord. This is the perfect solution for me. It's so small that I can put it in a corner on my desk.

Works with Lenovo Flex 14

Works well with Lenovo Flex 14 although not listed as compatible. The only problem after 9 months is that one of the monitors sometimes goes blank for 2-3 seconds before going back to normal. Occurs only once or twice a week with 3-6 hours of daily use. The instructions are easy to follow but you need to download the driver from the provided link before connecting. Easily supports 2 external monitors, spare drive, keyboard/mouse button, printer, Ethernet and more. Nice features include USB 3.0…

It works for me for notebook accessories

It works as expected. I now have 3 monitors plus a laptop display. Two monitors are connected to this Ultra Dock. Both displays are HDMI, so I also ordered a DisplayPort to HDMI adapter (SIENOC Displayport DP Male to HDMI Female DP to HDMI Adapter Cable Video Audio Converter Color Black SIENOC Displayport DP Male to HDMI Female DP to HDMI Adapter Cable Video Audio Converter Color Black) because this device has 1 HDMI output and 1 DisplayPort output. I connected everything and after the drivers…

This docking station is a lot of work. Every time I plug in my laptop I have to undock and reconnect the keyboard for it to work (not with a mouse or monitor for some reason). Also, connecting a monitor offers a really crappy resolution. This was not the case with my old Lenovo laptop/dock and I connect it to my TV with great results so I'm assuming it's the dock. Worst of all, the ethernet connection is not working. I've been looking for this and it seems it's a common problem. Basically, I…

First, figure out how you want to connect your monitors

Lenovo offers two different USB docking stations. I chose this one as it seemed to offer the most flexibility. I bought it to add two monitors + to a brand new X1 Carbon. It was not possible for me to get the second monitor to work with the standard HDMI output. In a nutshell. Apparently the X1 had an issue on the motherboard where the HDMI function didn't work (neither the physical port nor the "software port" of the docking station worked) which Lenovo took care of, no issues (I'm impressed…
