Review on Premium Milano Double Leather Business Shoes: Ultimate Comfort for Men's Loafers & Slip-Ons by John Camelio

Revainrating 5 out of 5

You know what you buy for $60.

These are my first double monks. I wanted to try one at an entry-level price to see if I liked the style. I was also very curious to buy highly rated shoes for $60. I will not compare these shoes to $150 and $300 dress shoes. They're in the $60 quality and build category, but I think these shoes are really good for $60. Here are my observations and thoughts. Style: La Milano hit the mark with great looking double monk shoes. They turn heads. The double strap is considered more casual than the single strap version. I wore my black double monks to work with dress chinos, a black wedding suit, and a navy suit with no tie. A+ for style! Fit: I usually wear size 9 shoes and sometimes I need size 9 for dress shoes. These shoes fashionably taper to the toe so I bought the 9.5. They fit well a half size larger and make my legs look longer in my suit. I recommend going up a half size for more comfort. Comfort: They are not designed for walking. You can walk around the office comfortably if you spend most of the day at your desk. Yesterday I walked around town and in IKEA for about three hours and my legs hurt both in the sole area and on the side. They say there is cushioning, but it's not enough for serious walking. Try wearing them if you're going to be idle most of the time, e.g. B. at work or at a wedding, but not in the city. Quality: They look good on the outside. They turn their heads in a good direction. When I received the shoes I could say I bought them for $60. The leather is reasonable for this price. The finish was far from perfect. One boot had a punched hole and the other had an open tongue edge. Nobody else can see them, and that's enough for a $60 shoe. Overall, this is a really decent $60 shoe. This is a great shoe for a teen who needs a homecoming or prom shoe.
