My old Logitech M510 finally died after almost 10 years of use so I decided to replace it with another Logitech. I'm very happy with this mouse, but not thrilled. The good first: * The "hidden" thumb button that brings up the task switcher (at least on Windows 10) is a nice add-on. * The wheel works great, with a button that toggles the scrolling mode from "line by line" to freewheel scrolling, which really flies through long documents. right-handed) is slightly more neutral than with a symmetrical mouse. * For the person who has multiple computers on their desk, the Shift key that lets you switch from one PC to another on the fly is really handy. * Expected item in that sense, but Logitech's laser tracking is very accurate and works fine on a variety of surfaces (or carpet for the mouse). And the bad: * The thumb forward/backward buttons are very hard to find with your thumb. They have a small ridge above them that gets in the way and they are difficult to find. As a person who constantly uses the back button on websites, this makes me angry. Probably not enough to get me through the hassle of returning, but certainly enough to deduct at least two stars from my rating. That's disappointing because I've always had good luck with Logitech. In fact, this is the first mistake I've made purchasing their products in 20 years.
